Whale Sharks In Bangsaray

According to wiki these are the largest fish, the biggest however some 18m long.
Whale sharks love open waters mainly tropical oceans and are rarely found in water below 21 °C (70 °F). These free swimming vertebrates however can live between 80–130 years
Feeding mainly on plankton and small fishes, However they are no real threat to humans. Despite its size, the whale shark does not pose any danger to humans.
Whale sharks are docile fish and sometimes swimmers can catch a ride similar to Dolphins. However this practice is frowned upon by conservationists because of the interference to the shark habitat.
In Thailand these sharks can be found near Richelieu Rock on the Surin Islands, A popular dive spot so keep your eyes open.
Hin Daeng 40 nautical miles South of the Phi Phi Islands another good Location for spotting as well.
