They appear to be a proper established local speedboat operator, rather than simply a ticket reseller.
Their current services include:

They advertise the crossing at approximately 10 minutes, although the actual time depends on where on Koh Samet you’re being dropped off and sea conditions.

300 baht.
A current Koh Samet resort information page specifically lists White Shark Speed Boat at 300 baht per person, and recent traveller information also reports 300 baht return using White Shark.
So the 300-baht return price is genuine, although prices can obviously change and may depend on the particular destination/arrangement.

I also found a third-party business listing showing 4.3/5 from 50+ reviews for White Shark Speed Boat Pier.
I would treat that as useful but not definitive because it’s a third-party listing rather than an independently audited review source.
We have used the service although out of season in August. The Owner said they like to be fair with prices, they also said there may be an increase as high Sean approaches

Bangsaray Villa Resort
Koh Samed is one of the easiest island day trips from Bangsaray — around 45–60 minutes by car to Ban Phe pier, then a short boat crossing. Here’s everything you need to plan the trip.
Step 1: Get to Ban Phe Pier
Ban Phe is the mainland departure point for all boats to Koh Samed. There are several piers within a short walk of each other in Ban Phe town — the most commonly used are Tarua Phe Pier (where White Shark and Black Pearl speedboats operate) and Nuan Thip Pier.
- By car/taxi from the resort: approx. 45–60 minutes
- Grab or a hired driver can drop you directly at the pier

White Shark Speed Boat is one of the two main operators at Tarua Phe pier (the other is Black Pearl). It’s well established, but guests should build in some buffer time — Thai boat schedules run loosely, and shared speedboats sometimes wait for a minimum number of passengers before departing.
Step 3: Arrival on Koh Samed
Most boats dock at Na Dan Pier, the main pier close to Hat Sai Kaew (the most popular beach) and the small town center. From there, taxis (songthaews) are available to reach other beaches on the island.
Good to Know
- Bring cash (THB) for tickets — cards aren’t reliably accepted at the piers
- Return boats run until early evening; check the last departure time before heading over for the day, especially in low season
- National park fee: there’s a small entrance fee (around 200 THB for foreign visitors) collected on the island
- If catching a flight afterward, avoid booking a same-day early-morning private transfer with tight timing — delays are common
